Berlin Spandau – Johannesstift Station

For decades the headquarters of the Havelländischen Eisenbahn AG has been in the Berlin – Johannesstift station, in the Berlin district of Spandau. In addition to administration and a spacious railyard with a loading site, there is also a well-equipped locomotive and wagon repair center here, as well as a diesel filling station.

This is where the epicenter of HVLE, the Operations Control Center, is located.

The employees from dispatching and emergency services are here watching over operations around-the-clock, 365 days a year.

Blankenburg (Harz) Office

The office in Blankenburg was established in early 2005 in order to service the demanding Blankenburg – Rübeland route (the steepest public freight transport line in Europe, with a slope of over 6 ‰). The Blankenburg team has a modern administration building with dispatching service and its own repair center, incl. a diesel filling station and assembly pit.

Celle Office

In 2016, HVLE opened the new Celle site with the Bomlitz and Mesmerode sites. The location of the site is the handling of local traffic as well as the supraregional support of the Spandau and Blankenburg / Harz sites.

Hennigsdorf Office

In 2004 HVLE took over responsibility for all operations of Bombardier’s Henningsdorf industrial railway. Bombardier is one of the world’s leading locomotive/motor vehicle makers. Our team of employees is responsible for the management of all private haulage at the Hennigsdorf site as well as the Hennigsdorf – Velten testing track. We support Bombardier in the execution of test runs for new motor vehicle development. Furthermore, we are responsible for the transportation of new motor vehicles to end-customers.
